Staging is editing, not decorating
The most valuable thing we do before photography is take furniture away. What we remove, and why it moves the price.

Editing, not decorating
Buyers are not judging your sofa. They are trying to work out whether their own life fits in the room, and every extra object is one more thing standing in the way of that.
We usually remove about a third of what is in a room, keep the pieces that show scale, and leave the walls quieter than feels comfortable. It photographs better and, more importantly, it walks better.
